Rye Harbour RNLI rescues woman from river in multi-agency rescue
On Wednesday 9 May the Rye Harbour lifeboat launched at 5:08pm in response to a request from HM Coastguard, following reports of a woman being in trouble in the River Rother half a mile north of Rye Fish Market.
West Kirby RNLI launch to reports of people cut off by the tide
On 6 May, West Kirby crew launched to reports of one or possibly two people cut off by the tide. After speaking to two females in the vicinity of the search area (who weren't in distress), and after a thorough search of the area, the boat stood down.
Tenby all weather lifeboat launched after wave capsizes rib off Caldey Island
Tenby’s relief RNLI all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch shortly after midday on Thursday 10th May following a report that a large wave had capsized a rib off Sandtop Bay on the south-west side of Caldey Island. It was unknown if the occupants were still in the water.
Poole Lifeboat diverted from training followed by a late night launch
Poole lifeboat crews were on exercise (Thursday July 20) when a call came through from UK coastguard that there was someone in the water near to Jazz Café that needed help, the casualty had entered the water and then felt unwell.
