RNLI lifesavers are calling on you to help get them there in time
We're heading into our busiest months, with more people in danger. Will you help us make this summer safer?
We rely on donations from kind people like you to fund the kit and equipment that means we can get there in time. Your kindness could help fund the drysuits designed to be quick and easy for the crew to zip up. Or the training to administer urgent lifesaving oxygen when someone is struggling to breathe. Or it could help provide fuel to power the lifeboat to the rescue, before it's too late. So this Mayday, we are calling on your support to help keep our beaches safer for families enjoying the coast.
Our pagers are on, our slipways are clear, our focus is sharp. We’ll put our hearts into getting there in time this summer. When someone is in grave danger, we can bring them safely home to their worried friends and family. But we can’t do it without you. Will you send help?

Make a donation
Donate to our Mayday Appeal and help our lifesavers get there in time. The busy season is coming. That means more shouts, so our lifesavers need to be ready to launch whenever the call comes in. Your kindness could provide the kit, equipment and training they need to be ready to save lives. Will you make a difference today and donate to our appeal?
Your donation will save lives in so many ways. In 2024, for every £1 spent on charitable activities, 54p was on lifeboats, property and equipment; 28p on running the lifeboat service; 12p on lifeguard rescue; 4p on water safety, education and awareness; and 2p on international drowning prevention.
