RNLI Skegness announces Stormys Pubs and Clubs Tour for Summer 2023

RNLI Skegness is excited to announce the return of Stormy Stan and the crew's popular Pubs & Clubs Tour this summer season.

Following the success of the 2022 tour raising in excess of £2,500 for the station, the team will be hitting the road again, bringing Stormy Stan to pubs, clubs, and show bars along the coast in Skegness, Ingoldmells, and Chapel St Leonards.

Stormy Stan will be making evening visits to various Pubs & Clubs, including The Club Tropicana, Woody's Bar And Restaurant, Haven Skegness Holiday Park, Big Top Show Bar and Coastfields Holiday Village. The evening events include a Bucket Collection and Photo Opportunities (Date/Venue Depending) with the crew.

In addition to evening appearances, the tour will include several daytime events in collaboration with Blue Anchor Leisure and Haven Skegness Holiday Park. Scheduled events include a Haven Showground Event on June 24th, a Golden Palm Fun Day on July 22nd, and a Woody's Fun Day on July 28th.

Deputy Launching Authority Brad Johnson says, 'We're thrilled to be welcomed back to these fantastic venues over the summer to raise vital funds for our lifeboat station. Our team is dedicated to saving lives at sea, and this tour is a fun way to engage with the community and support our mission.'

All events may be subject to site/business rules and you may only be able to attend if you have booked a holiday, staying or site or have a ticket for the venues. Dates may change at short notice if Lifeboat Station operational needs require this.
