SBP Accountants raise over £10,200 for Fraserburgh RNLI
SBP Accountants have raised £10,258.28 for Fraserburgh RNLI after choosing them as their Charity of the Year in 2022.
The accountancy firm, who have offices in Aberdeen, Banff, Fraserburgh and Peterhead, have been raising funds for the charity over the last 12 months, including taking part in the Aberdeen Kiltwalk last May.
Earlier this month, four members of SBP Accountants, including Sandra Stephen, Business Development Executive, visited Fraserburgh RNLI to donate a cheque for more than £10,200.
Last year, Fraserburgh RNLI was chosen as SBP Accountants' Charity of the Year Partnership. In total, SBP Accountants and Business Advisors took part in 10 different events to raise money for Fraserburgh RNLI, as well as raise money through collection boxes in their offices.
Sandra Stephen, Business Development Executive at SBP Accountants, says:
‘The Partners of SBP Accountants wished to continue their support to our fishing clients as well as the wider community.
‘As both SBP Accountants and RNLI are represented in Aberdeen, Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Banff, the Partners felt that this charity was extremely fitting.
'We found the representatives of the RNLI extremely helpful and they all showed their appreciation and helped us organise activities.
‘We undertook various fundraising activities, including a “Bake off Competition” in our office. Donations with a “Monthly Dress Down Day” together with a “Ladies Day” and our grateful thanks go to all that participated and donated to make our events successful which in turn raised the sum of £10,258.58.
Thank you RNLI for your dedication and commitment to the public.’
