Solihull Fundraising Branch
We are an active branch who collect at local stores and other suitable locations. We hold an annual Lifeboat Day, normally in Solihull town centre.
We would love to hear from you if you are interested in organising an event for the RNLI or wish to help us collect funds to help save lives at sea.
The present Branch Chairman/Secretary was Chairman of the Borough of Solihull Lifeboat Appeal before formally joining the RNLI; the funds raised paid for an Atlantic 21 lifeboat for Abersoch and the Branch maintained a link with Abersoch until October 2015 when its successor, an Atlantic 75 which was funded by a bequest from a resident of Solihull, was withdrawn and now does sterling service at Union Hall in Ireland.
We are proud that our efforts raise as much as they do but additional help is always needed and most welcome!
We are always in need of additional help at our collections - at stores, other locations and on Lifeboat Day. If you would like to find out more then please do get in touch.
Please contact the Chairman for opportunities at this branch or check our volunteering vacancies.
