A quick starter activity, encouraging children to think of fun, descriptive words for a waterside object of their choice.

With a template of a waterside location (beach, canal, lake, river, and more) to work from, children are given 10 minutes to work in pairs, writing down all the descriptive words they can think of to do with their chosen environment.
