Branch information
Although many miles from the sea, the ancient Cheshire market town of Congleton has a long history of supporting the lifeboat service. Our branch was formed in 1966, carrying on the work of the previous guild back into the 1930's. We have an industrious group of committee members and volunteers, organising various events throughout the year including store collections, our annual Flag Day in the town centre and the bi-annual Congleton Carnival. We support the RNLI Mayday campaign involving local businesses and our annual Fish Supper is always very well supported.
We always welcome new volunteers.
Please contact the Chairman for opportunities at this branch or check our volunteering vacancies.
The RNLI is a very worthwhile cause. If you can help in the Congleton area to support our volunteer lifeboat crews then please get in touch. You will be made very welcome.
