Autumn 2026 One Crew update
Please watch the autumn One Crew update giving you the latest news on what is happening across our charity.
I hope you will be able to find time to watch our latest One Crew update to hear about what has been happening across the RNLI over the past few months, and what is coming up.
This update was filmed in two parts; the first at Burry Port Lifeboat Station in Wales, with the second half in the prototype of the new MOSAIC modular lifeboat station, which is currently in Poole. In the left hand picture I am stood with our gracious hosts at Burry Port, Lifeboat Management Group Chair Robin Staines and Lifeboat Operations Manager Roger Bowen.
I am joined in the video by our Chief Delivery Officer Rob Faricy and Chief Finance Officer and Director of Corporate Services Sarah Davies, to update on the work going on in their directorates which impacts us all.
Volunteer Alex Barthe also joined us on behalf of the Disability Network to discuss the importance of our People Networks and inclusivity at the RNLI, a subject very close to my heart.
Among the other topics covered in this update are:
- The safety and security of our people
- Phase 2 of the 2040 Lifeboat Fleet Strategy
- Regional webinars
- A huge supporter milestone
- World Drowning Prevention Day
- Launch a Memory
If you have any feedback or questions after watching the update, please email [email protected]
Thank you for everything you do for the RNLI and please stay safe.
Sincerely,
Peter Sparkes - Chief Executive
