Some events planned for the summer of 2021 may be affected by recent announcements around pausing the lifting of covid restrictions in the UK and Ireland. Please ensure you keep a check on the restrictions in your area as you plan your events so you can make sure you are safe and avoid any breach of covid regulations.

Whether you're a seasoned or budding gardener, RNLI Open Gardens is a wonderful and inspiring way to get involved with your local community and celebrate our brave lifesavers.

An RNLI Open Garden can be large or small, country or urban, round or rectangle. It could be a grand hall garden, a beautiful courtyard or a plant sale on your driveway. And you can decide whether to open your garden gates for all of your local community to enjoy, or whether to simply invite a few of your neighbours around for some blooming good fun!

IN 2021, We need your help more than ever

IN 2021, staycations are increasing

Open your garden and you’ll be a lifesaver too. You’ll be part of our green-fingered crew made up of RNLI supporters, volunteers and staff, all ready and willing to open their gardens to family, friends and neighbours to save lives at sea.

The money you raise from your RNLI Open Garden event will go towards ensuring our crews and lifeguards have everything they need to go to the rescue.

The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic causes some uncertainty but our priorities continue to be the welfare of our volunteers, staff and supporters and maintaining our world-class lifesaving service. While we continue to monitor the situation closely, please ensure that you always refer to the latest government guidance on Covid-19 in your area when planning or taking part in an RNLI fundraising event.
