Two people on a paddleboard rescued by Hartlepool RNLI

On Sunday 28th June Hartlepool RNLI volunteers were paged by Humber Coastguard to assist two people on an inflatable paddleboard that were being blown out to sea from Seaton Carew.

Hartlepool RNLI inshore lifeboat 'Solihull'.
Hartlepool RNLI inshore lifeboat launched at 1.45pm and located the casualties at 1.55pm.
The casualties who were cold but unhurt and were taken aboard the inshore lifeboat and brought back to the Ferry Road lifeboat station where they were warmed up and later collected.
