Visitors enjoyed performances from sea shanty groups whose traditional maritime songs echoed around the station, while street food vendors served a wide range of food and refreshments. Families, supporters, and visitors from across the region gathered to enjoy the festivities and learn more about the vital work carried out by the RNLI lifeboat station and its volunteers.

The station extends its sincere thanks to all performers, food vendors, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters whose efforts helped make the event a success while raising awareness of the lifesaving service it provides.

Bruce Harris, Launch Authority and Event Organiser said:

‘It was wonderful to see so many people come together to support the station, enjoy the entertainment, and celebrate our maritime heritage. The atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, and contributed to such a memorable event.’
