The team at The Loch Ness Experience organised a family fun day on Sunday 31 May as part of the annual Quest event, which raised £423.97 of donations in aid of the RNLI. Visitors enjoyed a variety of retro games such as ‘Hook a Duck’, ‘Tin Can Alley’ and ‘Nessie Buzz Wire’, as well as face painting and a bottle stall. Volunteer crew from the RNLI Loch Ness lifeboat station shared invaluable water safety advice and gave demonstrations to show how RNLI crews work together to save lives at sea.

Caroline Tollyfield, fundraiser at RNLI Loch Ness, said: ‘We’re delighted that the event raised more than £400 of donations and are extremely grateful to the team at The Loch Ness Experience for their generous support of the RNLI. The family fun day was a brilliant event, and it was lovely to see everyone having fun and getting involved with the crew’s demonstrations.

‘It was a fantastic community day and a great way for us to raise awareness of the RNLI's work and the role of the RNLI Loch Ness lifeboat station, whilst also sharing important water safety advice. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and to The Loch Ness Experience team for their creativity and enthusiasm in raising funds for the RNLI.’

General Manager of The Loch Ness Experience, Nagina Ishaq, said: ‘The Loch Ness Experience is delighted to support the RNLI and our local crew at the Loch Ness lifeboat station here in Drumnadrochit. The dedication, commitment and vital service provided by the lifeboat crew make a real difference to our local community and the many visitors from all over the world who come to enjoy Loch Ness each year.
