Hartlepool RNLI assist yacht that had ran aground
Whilst on a training exercise on Sunday morning 2nd August, Hartlepool RNLI inshore lifeboat 'Solihull' and all weather lifeboat 'John Sharp' attended a 32ft yacht with 3 people on board that had run aground on Longscar Rocks off Seaton Carew.
The yacht crew had to wait until later in the afternoon for the tide to refloat their vessel before continuing their journey south.
Sea state was smooth with a westerly wind.
