It was a fantastic evening filled with singing, smiles and not an empty stomach in the room. To finish off the evening Wells RNLI crew that attended the event joined the Blakeney Old Wild Rover to sing the final farewell shanty.

French’s Owner, Marcus French said: ‘French’s fish and chips have always been a big supporter of Wells Lifeboat. We were delighted to be able to donate our fish and chips and wish Wells Lifeboat crew and volunteers continued success in the amazing work they do.’

The fundraiser honours the RNLI's lifeboat crew who miss meal times and special occasions with loved ones to go out on lifeboat shouts.

Wells RNLI Lifeboat Press Officer, Jess Curtis said: 'Our Fish Supper was yet another great success for our fundraising team, who were very well supported by French’s owner Marcus French. Support like this from the community is vital to ensure lifesaving funds to the RNLI, so a big thank you to all for making it such a successful evening.'
