Hartlepool RNLI over the Rainbow with artwork
The 2nd Barnard Castle Rainbows members recently gained their 'Mayday Mayday' water safety badges by completing the challenge award designed by Girl Guiding North East England in conjunction with the RNLI.
Hartlepool RNLI crewmember Colm Simpson who is a Cub leader at the 40th Hartlepool cub scout group said 'This was a lovely gesture by the Rainbows at Barnard Castle and I am sure they enjoyed both learning about sea safety and drawing the fantastic pictures which the crew have enjoyed looking at on the noticeboard in the boathouse. We hope the Rainbows have a safe and happy Christmas'.
