Following the presentation that was held at the Murray Street 'Naval Club' in Hartlepool, lodge treasurer John Littlewood said "We are delighted to make this presentation to the volunteers and officials at the Ferry Road lifeboat station who do an amazing job. The charity is vital for the town and we really appreciate the efforts the volunteers make to keep everyone safe at sea when they run into trouble."

Hartlepool RNLI Enterprise Branch member Anne Wray said "The volunteer lifeboat crew have had another busy year and it's thanks to generous donations such as this from the lodge members that we are always ready to head out to sea and also provide the volunteer crewmembers with the best equipment to do the job and I'd just like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped to raise the money."
