
Fundraiser for Hartlepool RNLI
The second 'Sensory Spot CIC' RNLI Family Fun Day Fundraiser will take place on Sunday 7th August between 11.00-4.00pm at West Hartlepool Rugby Club on Catcote Road.
Event organiser Bonnie Pinder said "Last years event was a great success and we raised a very impressive £1,772.00 for the Hartlepool RNLI. The charity is very special to me as my husband Craig is a volunteer crew member and is on call 24/7.This years event will have Richardson's Amusements, various stalls, food, games and donkey rides and dance demonstrations from the Jemma Louise Academy and much more so please come along and support the charity that saves lives at sea".

Key facts about the RNLI
The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824, its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 146,000 lives.
