
Flint Lifeboat Station responds to report of drifting inflatable
Flint RNLI lifeboat was tasked by Holyhead Coastguard to assist following a report of an inflatable drifting out to sea from Talacre.
The first all female RNLI lifeboat crew from Flint responded to a report of an inflatable drifting out to sea. The lifeboat was called at 1:30pm, launched at Greenfield and proceeded to Talacre, where on arrival the lifeboat was stood down as two people had been assisted ashore by a kayaker.
The lifeboat returned to Greenfield, where it was recovered and returned to Flint where it was refuelled and ready for service at 2:45pm
