
Bacon Life Saver
In support of the RNLI May Day appeal Flint RNLI will be holding a ‘Bacon Butty’ event on Saturday 19th May.
The event will be held at 13 Caesar Avenue, Flint, entry is £2.50 to include bacon butty, tea or coffee, doors are open at 10 am and close at 2 pm.
Kat & Gareth Williams who are hosting the event said ‘we support the RNLI May Day appeal each year, last year’s event raised £200’
The May Day appeal runs for the whole of May. This year it is hoped to raise £750k nationwide to fund essential crew kit for the 4700 volunteer crew members at the RNLI’s 238 life boat stations.
The charity is also encouraging people to show support on their social media, joining the conversation using the hashtag #MaydayEveryDay, or by donating online or buying a yellow crew member pin badge.
