Hartlepool Marina pub’s cash boost for RNLI charity

Fundraising by the staff and regulars at the Jacksons Wharf pub at the Highlight, Hartlepool Marina have recently raised £155.00 for the Hartlepool RNLI.

Hartlepool RNLI Enterprise Branch fundraiser Ann Wray said: ‘We have a fantastic relationship with everyone at the pub who have always been generous and this latest donation is most welcome.'

Jacksons Wharf manager Matty John said: ‘The RNLI girls are always a pleasure to have at the pub as we are keen supporters of the RNLI. Obviously being next to the Marina and the sea anything we can do to promote sea safety is a bonus.'

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts.
