Just the right medicine for Hartlepool RNLI fundraisers

The ‘Seaton Pharmacy’ at Elizabeth Way, Seaton Carew raised an impressive £529.19 for the Hartlepool RNLI as part of their ongoing support for the charity that saves lives at sea.

The money raised was collected in ‘Bettys 5p Pots’ that are small glass jars left on the counter for customers to make their donations in.

Hartlepoool RNLI Enterprise Branch chairperson Beryl Sherry said: ‘We are delighted with this donation and the support from the pharmacy staff and customers. Their generous effort will help our volunteer crew members save lives at sea.'

The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts.
