Police request Flint RNLI lifeboat assistance

Lifeboats News Release

Holyhead Coastguard requested the launch of Flint RNLI lifeboat to assist North Wales Police with an incident at the Flintshire Bridge.

Flint RNLI volunteers were called at just after 9pm on Wednesday evening (23 November). They proceeded to Connah's Quay where they launched at 9.16pm, reaching the Flintshire Bridge at 9.30pm. The lifeboat was stood down at 10.12pm following a call from the Flint Coastguard Rescue Team.

The lifeboat and its volunteer crew returned to Connah's Quay, was recovered, and returned to Flint and was ready for service at 11.45pm.
