Islay's lifeboat

Find out more about the lifeboat operated by the volunteers here at Islay Lifeboat Station.

A lifeboat is moored in calm water near a rugged coastline. The boat has the identification number 17‑08 on the bow and a small inflatable dinghy floats next to the lifeboat. In the background, low hills and open land stretch beneath a cloudy, dramatic sky.
