Push yourself to the limit as you take on 1,120 steps of 22 Bishopsgate in London – the tallest and toughest tower run in the UK. You can run, walk or crawl to the top, and be rewarded with stunning views across the London skyline when you conquer the challenge.

Why is Tower Run significant for the RNLI?

For over 20 years the RNLI has operated four lifeboat stations on the tidal Thames, with Tower lifeboat station being the busiest. The current station at Tower is now beyond economical repair and all proceeds from this event will go towards funding the well needed replacement. By taking part in the RNLI Tower Run you will become part of the future of saving lives on the Thames.

Safety measures:

Runners will start in staggered groups of a maximum of 30 runners every 30 minutes. Please buy tickets for your preferred start time. On the day, there will be first aid points every 5 floors, and St John Ambulance medics will be in attendance.

Please Note:

By signing up for a ticket, you pledge to raise £150 in sponsorship. You will need to set up a fundraising page to get started. By using our event specific JustGiving link your page will automatically raise money to help fund the new Tower Lifeboat Station.

Please arrive 45 minutes before your start time, so you have time to register and warm up.

After your run, you’ll be treated to amazing, uninterrupted views across London at a drinks reception, to toast reaching the top and supporting our crews to continue their lifesaving work in London. non-alcoholic options are available.

Please note that due to the building occupancy the run may not end on the 56th floor. In this event the closest possible floor will be used and will be confirmed prior to the 22 October.
