Branch information

We are a friendly, hard-working bunch of people from Saundersfoot and neighbouring villages.  We hold several fund-raising events locally throughout the year and have a souvenir stall on the harbour during the summer months.

We’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in getting involved in an event or would like to join the team.

Just one good deed can make all the difference. Would you like to do something truly worthwhile with your free time for the RNLI? We are looking for support with our local events. We would love to hear from you and welcome you onboard.

Volunteer Fundraising Members

Becoming part of your local fundraising team could offer you an opportunity to improve your CV, meet new people, learn new skills or just have fun with fundraising in your community. Some of our team members have been volunteering for many years, some just join us for a few months – whatever their commitments allow.

Do you want to volunteer in your local community? Do you want to have fun assisting at fundraising events and activities, but prefer to be a team player rather than a team leader? If so, joining our fundraising team may be just the fit for you!

As a volunteer fundraiser you should enjoy meeting and talking to people, or want to develop these skills, and want to be an ambassador for the RNLI in the local community. This is a great opportunity to really make a difference by raising vital funds for our volunteer crew members and lifeguards.

Branch Secretary - Vacancy

As the primary point of contact between the branch and the Volunteer Experience Team you will play a key role in ensuring effective communication by distributing information to branch members, taking notes at meetings and placing printing and materials orders. You will be highly organised and efficient, used to meeting deadlines and have an enthusiasm for assisting at fundraising events and activities.

Whether you have experience in administration or secretarial work or you want to develop such skills this could be a role for you. Please contact the Volunteer Experience Team on [email protected] or 0300 300 0128 if you are interested in finding out more or check our volunteering vacancies.

New branch members are always welcome.
