Branch information

The RNLI Salcombe and Kingsbridge Fundraising Crew cover most of the South Hams District of South Devon, with around 70 active members. The crew conduct fundraising for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and the Salcombe and Kingsbridge lifeboats in particular. The fundraising volunteers also man the Salcombe lifeboat shop and museum from late February – December every day between 10.30am – 4.30pm depending on the time of year.

The Crew organise a wide range of fundraising events including street collections, sports events, sponsored walks, Triathlons, Gala Dinners and Choral concerts. All events are organised to make sure that, wherever possible, we have fun whilst engaging the local community in raising funds and awareness to provide our volunteer crews with essential training and equipment to save more lives at sea.

If you would like to join the crew and participate in some of these events and/or help in the shop, please contact the Chairman or Secretary.
