Branch information
Queensferry Fundraising Branch has been active for around 25 years, and over that time has raised many thousands of pounds for the RNLI. Members of the Branch include volunteers who work in our shop which itself has also raised significant sums for the RNLI.
In fact 2018 will prove to have been a record year for both the Branch and the shop. In all of our varied fundraising activities we have a very close and good working relationship with Station Management and crew; the best example being our annual Open Day at which fundraisers and crew work together to produce a very popular event, raising thousands of pounds each year.
Our Branch organises various activities including an annual Country Dance, numerous store collections, an annual raffle and bucket collections at Queensferry's annual Loony Dook which is supported by our lifeboat and crew. We meet monthly at our Lifeboat Station to plan and progress our activities. We are fortunate in getting tremendous support from our local community and from further afield.
We are always open to welcome prospective new members, we also welcome any suggestions for local fundraising possibilities.
