Branch information

Lowestoft Fundraising Branch covers a wider area around Lowestoft RNLI lifeboat station in Suffolk. The group attends and runs a good mix of local fundraising events as well as store/street collections and managed a number of collection boxes in the area.

Lowestoft is one of the oldest lifeboat stations in the British Isles, founded in 1801 prior to the RNLI’s foundation in 1824. The branch is an advocate of the importance of this historical station and its value in the local community.

We are a small group but we are always keen to recruit more supporters who can spare an hour or two to help with our fundraising efforts. We are actively recruiting for more hands-on board and welcome local collaboration.

Just one good deed can make all the difference. Would you like to do something truly worthwhile with your free time for the RNLI? We are looking for support with our local events. We would love to hear from you and welcome you onboard.

Branch members meet quarterly.
