Kippford District Lifeboat Fundraising Committee
Our team of community fundraising volunteers in and around Kippford devote their time to raising vital funds for the RNLI.
Branch information
Situated at the mouth of the River Urr Estuary, Kippford Lifeboat Station has operated an inshore lifeboat for over 40 years.
Originally operating in the Summer months, the station is now fully operational throughout the year. Our crews respond to not only incidents at sea, but provide support to other emergency services and respond to both cliff and beach accidents along the north coast of the Solway Firth.
The current lifeboat, a D class inshore named Catherine, has been in service since 2010.
The Station shop is open daily from Easter to November.
