Details to be confirmed.Branch information
We are a small branch based in the twin towns of Fishguard & Goodwick in far West Wales.
We raise money for our local lifeboats – ALB Trent Blue Peter VII and ILB ‘D’ Class Edward Arthur Richardson.
Our small committee meets once a month at the Lifeboat Station and we endeavour to organise a fund raising activity each month of the year. We also sell souvenirs at local agricultural shows and at other locally organised events during the summer. Committee members organise a Grand Summer Draw and a Christmas Hamper Raffle.
Our local ferry company, based in Fishguard Harbour, give us great support and allow us to sell souvenirs on the boat to Ireland once a year and to hold a Flag Day on board. We like to think that we ‘punch above our weight’ and during 2016 we raised £24,387 for our lifeboats.
