Chertsey, Shepperton and District Fundraising Branch
Branch information
Having fun whilst raising funds for the RNLI is the ethos of the Chertsey and District Branch. We attend most of the large community events in the area to publicise the charity’s lifesaving work and make a sizable contribution to funds by selling RNLI merchandise. Having organised several successful fund raising events of our own recently we continue to seek future opportunities and welcome ideas from organisations and individuals.
Collecting boxes in local businesses and conducting annual store collections provides a regular income for the Branch. Additional support to develop this valuable source of funds is always required either on a regular or ad hoc basis.
Inspiring people to continue supporting the RNLI is an important function of the Branch and we achieve this through our own Education Presenter. Our presenter is available to talk to adult and youth groups about the work of the RNLI, beach and water safety.
If you wish to join us, help with any aspect of our life saving work or just talk about other ways to supporting the RNLI, please do contact us.
For information regarding talks/presentations please see our presenter’s website.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help with store/street collections and event organisation.
Please contact the Secretary for opportunities at this branch or check our volunteering vacancies.
