Support the RNLI runners

Thousands have taken on the ultimate challenge of running the TCS London Marathon 2026 with the RNLI. Help our amazing runners race to the rescue – and you’ll be a lifesaver too.

They’ve trained through winter. Run through puddles. Suffered blisters and sore muscles. But the RNLI runners have never given up – they’re determined to save lives at sea.

We’re full of admiration for the thousands of incredible people running the TCS London Marathon 2026 with the RNLI. Out of kindness, they’re running an awe-inspiring 26.2 miles.

Just like our brave volunteer lifeboat crew, the runners have committed their time and trained in all weathers to help save lives at sea.

As they run the iconic marathon route along the River Thames, home to four RNLI lifeboat stations, we couldn’t be prouder.

With every mile they cover, the runners’ grit and determination will help raise money to fund the kit, equipment and training our lifeboat volunteers rely on to launch to the rescue and return safely home.

Want to celebrate this extraordinary achievement? A kind donation today is a way to show the runners some love – and save more lives at sea.
