The beautiful waterside location of RNLI College makes it a perfect venue to celebrate that special occasion. The incredible atmosphere will set the tone for your party, naming ceremony, celebration of life or private event.
So, if you’re looking for a venue with a difference, we’d love to be a part of your celebration. And not only is it the perfect venue for your event, but every £1 spent at the College goes towards saving lives at sea.
Our Waterfront Suite located on the ground floor has access onto the sea terrace with views over Holes Bay and the iconic twin sails bridge. This is available for functions in the Waterfront suite (weather permitting) There is also a lectern and a screen with full AV facilities for presenting.

Waterfront SuiteA delightful suite on the ground floor ideal for larger parties.
The Waterfront Suite has direct access onto the Waterfront Terrace, a perfect area for photos and drinks with the backdrop of Holes Bay in Poole Harbour.
- Up to 200 guests
- maximum of 200 for the evening reception (depending upon seating arrangement requirements).
It can also be specially tailored for smaller parties to provide a more intimate setting.

Harbour View SuiteA beautiful, light and airy room located on the second floor, the Harbour View Suite is a very special room with grand sweeping views of Holes Bay in Poole Harbour.
Doors open onto your own private balcony where you can enjoy some fresh sea air and watch the boats go sailing past.
This suite can accommodate up to 60 guests for your event.
(Due to its proximity to guest rooms, bands and discos are not permitted, making it perfect for smaller intimate events).

Whether you want an intimate gathering or a party atmosphere, we have a choice of function rooms and college areas.
And for those wanting to stay a little longer, we have 60 bedrooms, all offering fantastic harbour views.
While we enjoy the festivities over Christmas and New Year, our volunteer crews around the UK and Ireland are on call 24/7, ready to respond to emergencies at sea.
