Paw Patrol certificate says well done for completing the beach safety trail

PAWsome Teamwork!

Being on this web page can mean only one thing - you’ve completed the PAW Patrol Beach Safety Trail. Well done! Thank you for helping the pups and RNLI lifeguards keep children like you and their families safer on the beach this summer.

In recognition of your PAWsome teamwork, here is a very special PAW Patrol certificate, especially for you. The certificate includes the four beach safety tips you learned on the trail to help you remember them.

Have fun, stay safe!

Staying safe in the water makes sense. It means you’ll always have a great time!

Remember to:

  1. 1

    Stop and think

When you’re by the water ask yourself: ‘Is this a safe place to swim?’ and ‘Is there a lifeguard nearby?’
  2. 2

    Stay together

Always go to the coast and in the water with family or friends. And tell someone where you’re going.
  3. 3

    Float

If you get into trouble in the water, float on your back:

    • Tilt your head back with your ears underwater.
    • Stretch out your arms and legs like you’re a big starfish.
    • Try to relax and breathe normally.
    • Move your hands to help you stay afloat.
    • When you feel calm, put a hand in the air and shout for help.
  4. 4

    Call 999 or 112

If you see someone else in trouble, don’t go in the water to help - call 999 or 112 and ask for the coastguard.

'No job is too big, no pup is too small!'

You may have completed your PAW Patrol beach safety mission, but RNLI lifeguards and lifeboat crew still need your help to keep people safe, all year round. Are you up for the challenge? Take a look below at just some of the ways you can continue to be a water safety hero.
