Man overboard, wearing a lifejacket in simulated rough water conditions

Book your free Man Overboard Experience

Learn how to keep you and your crew safe

Join us at a FREE one-day Man Overboard Experience at the NMCI (National Maritime College of Ireland) sponsored by the RNLI and BIM.

Practise your man overboard recovery skills in this challenging 1-day session, while experiencing environmental conditions in a controlled environment at the NMCI’s sea survival pool.

Your day will be led by RNLI Commercial Fishing Safety Manager Frankie Horne and team. The day will start with a presentation followed by the pool-based session. By the end of it, you’ll have practiced man overboard scenarios first-hand and you’ll understand how a personal flotation device can help save your life. We hope you’ll be persuaded to put one on every time you go out on your boat.

This is a free opportunity so please join us if you can, and learn how to keep you and your crew safe.
