Flamborough RNLI celebrates Tier 1 pass outs

Diane joined the Flamborough RNLI volunteer crew around three years ago and has worked consistently towards completing the training and assessments required to achieve her Tier 1 pass out.

Speaking following her achievement, Diane said: ‘It has taken a lot of hard work and commitment over the last three years, so it’s a great feeling to have finally achieved my Tier 1 pass out. I am very grateful to everyone at the station who has supported and encouraged me along the way, and I am looking forward to continuing my journey with the crew.’

Richard joined the station approximately 18 months ago and has also worked hard throughout his training to reach the same milestone.

Richard said: ‘I am really pleased to have achieved my Tier 1 pass out after joining the crew 18 months ago. The training has been challenging but extremely rewarding, and I’d like to thank everyone at Flamborough RNLI for the support and encouragement. I am looking forward to continuing to learn and develop as part of the crew.’

Both achievements represent an important step in Diane and Richard’s development as volunteer lifeboat crew, following the dedication and commitment they have shown to their training and to the station.
