Peel RNLI has thanked staff at Seaboard Trading after they chose the station as their official charity partner for the year.
Peel RNLI has received a generous donation of £3,750 from the team at Seaboard Trading following a staff vote to select the lifeboat station as the company’s official charity partner for the year.
Representatives Matthew Bird, Alan Hoppers and Charlotte Clarke recently visited Peel Lifeboat Station, where they watched the launch of Peel RNLI’s Shannon class all-weather lifeboat, Frank and Brenda Winter.
Speaking after the visit, Charlotte Clarke said: ‘We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and learning more about the fantastic work carried out by the RNLI.’Paul Thompson, Lifeboat Operations Manager at Peel RNLI said:
‘It was my pleasure to welcome the Seaboard Team to Peel Lifeboat Station, so that they could see firsthand how their gift will support our lifesaving operations. On behalf of all of the crew here, I wanted to thank everyone at Seaboard for their generous donation and their support of the RNLI.’
