Mark has been a part of our station for 10 years, with six of those being as Launch Authority. He was also a Tractor Driver and valued member of the Shore Crew. Back in 2022, Mark received a Director of Operations Commendation for his execution of launch and recovery of the County tractor, in difficult and dangerous sea conditions for a shout rescuing a surfer in Force 9 winds.

Lifeboat Operations Manager Paul Moffett said:

‘Mark has been a very important part of our station for the last 10 years. Not only as a member of the Operations Team, but as a good friend. We are very sad to see him go and wish him all the best for the future.’
