Fowey’s volunteer lifeboat crew launched their D Class lifeboat and made best safe speed to the given position. Helm Boris and crew Amelia and Oli located the casualty and safely recovered them onto the lifeboat. They then took them to family who were waiting ashore.

Whilst they were returning back to Fowey lifeboat station, Falmouth coastguard requested that the crew keep a look out for a pair of jet skiers who had been reported overdue. The crew observed the two jet skiers entering Fowey Harbour and no further action was required.
