Station Visit

The two had fundraised money for the RNLI, asking friends for donations to the charity rather than present! They raised over £450.

They were able to explore the lifeboat and understand what their money raised helps towards keeping the lifeboat station operational.

It was a truly wonderful opportunity to welcome two very special visitors, Henry and Lucas, to the station last night. Instead of asking for birthday presents, the boys chose to do something incredibly thoughtful and they asked their friends and family to make donations to the instead RNLI instead. Thanks to their generosity and the support of those around them, they raised an amazing £450 to help support the lifesaving work carried out by our crews.

During their visit, Henry and Lucas were given the chance to explore the lifeboat, meet members of the team, and learn more about how their fundraising efforts will directly contribute to keeping the lifeboat station operational. From maintaining vital equipment to ensuring the crew can respond at a moment’s notice, every pound raised makes a real difference and their contribution will help us continue saving lives at sea.

Well done, Henry and Lucas and thank you for your fantastic support!
