Stranraer RNLI volunteers spread water safety messages in schools
RNLI volunteers in Stranraer have been supporting the charity’s annual Float to Live campaign with the help of school children.
The RNLI annually focuses on a water safety awareness campaign designed to give the public advice on how to cope if they find themselves struggling in the water.
In the Stranraer area, the Castle Kennedy Primary School, Sheuchan Primary School and Rephad Primary School have been learning about the dangers of cold water and how floating can help you to overcome the danger.
The station says it is delighted with the support of the community and the display of posters now being erected in the town.
