Bangor RNLI congratulates five volunteers following successful assessments

Bangor RNLI has congratulated five of its volunteers who successful passed assessments at the station this week following a period of dedicated training in their station roles.

Tom Bell passed as Head Launcher

Tom Bell passed out as a Launch Authority, Charlie Burns as a Head Launcher, Lee Mercer as a Tier 2 crew member and Rob Pogson and Tarek Qutteine as shore crew.

RNLI Coastal Trainer Mark Mitchell said: 'I am very impressed with all the volunteers who passed exams this week and achieved very high pass marks.'

The RNLI prides itself on training its volunteers to a high standard to ensure safety at sea and on shore and to prepare all crew for every possible scenario they may find themselves in.
