Unleash the Fun at Bridlington RNLI’s Inaugural Dog Show

With a variety of classes designed to celebrate dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities, the event offers plenty of opportunities for canine companions to shine.

Classes include: Best Puppy, Best Veteran, Best Crossbreed, Prettiest Girl, Handsomest Dog, Waggiest Tail, Best Condition, Sausage Catcher and the coveted Best in Show title.

Entry costs £5 per dog, per class, with the top three dogs in each class receiving a rosette. Winners from each category will then go forward to compete in the final Best in Show competition.

As well as the dog show, there'll be raffle prizes, a bake stall, a selfie station, and the chance to have a chat with the team.

The event is expected to attract dogs and their owners from across the local area and hopefully beyond, providing a fantastic opportunity for the community and visitors alike to come together in support of Bridlington RNLI's volunteer lifeboat crews.

Mike Milner, Lifeboat Press Officer at Bridlington RNLI, said, ‘We are looking forward to welcoming lots of dogs and their owners for what promises to be a fantastic day. Whether your dog is a champion tail-wagger, a proud veteran or simply enjoys being the centre of attention, there's a class for everyone.

Every pound raised will help support the RNLI's lifesaving work and ensure our volunteer crews have the training and equipment they need to save lives at sea with the fun starting at 11am and finishing at 3pm.’

Visitors are reminded that all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times throughout the event.

By entering the dog show and supporting the fundraising activities, participants will be helping the RNLI continue its mission of saving lives at sea, ensuring volunteer lifeboat crews remain ready to respond whenever the call comes.
