Swanage all-weather lifeboat assists in multi agency search
Swanage lifeboat joined Mudeford and Poole lifeboats as well as a coastguard helicopter 'Rescue 375' in searching for a missing person who had been seen entering the water at Durley Chine.
HM Coastguard suspended the search some time later and stood the ALB down (along with all the other assets). At this point the lifeboat had completed 6 of the 7 legs of the agreed search pattern.
The ALB arrived back at Swanage boathouse a little after 9.00pm at 21:08 and was washed down and re-fuelled ready for the next incident
