•Take part in a range of activities for both adults and children

There will also be plenty of attractions and refreshments available, including:

•A cake stall and book stall
•The RNLI shop, open throughout the day

Visitors can also enjoy an immersive ''shout experience” tour behind the scenes which is
£5 per adult and £2.50 for children under 12.

Nick Gough, Scarborough RNLI Station Technician, said: 'We are thrilled to bring back our Flag Day celebration this year. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with both visitors and locals while raising essential funds for our station. The Scarborough RNLI team is eager to showcase our work and engage with our supportive community during this special event.'

He added: 'Flag Day is a key annual community event that supports Scarborough Lifeboat Station's lifesaving work. All proceeds from the day will contribute to maintaining our vital search and rescue service and ensuring the safety of coastal communities.'

The RNLI team hopes the community will come together to support the event and help raise vital funds to continue saving lives at sea.
