5 Call Outs in 48 Hours as Bundoran RNLI Car Show Countdown Begins
The countdown is on in Bundoran as the local RNLI lifeboat crew prepares to host its much-anticipated Vintage Car Show this Sunday, 19th July, from 12 noon to 4pm at the West End Car Park.
This family-friendly event promises a fantastic display of classic and vintage vehicles from across the region, offering something for car enthusiasts of all ages. Visitors can enjoy a great day out while supporting a vital cause – all proceeds raised on the day will go directly to the RNLI, helping the charity continue its life-saving work at sea.
Speaking ahead of the event, Daimon Fergus, Lifeboat Operations Manager, said:
`We’re really looking forward to welcoming locals and visitors to Bundoran for what’s shaping up to be a brilliant day. Every donation helps our volunteer crew continue to train, launch, and save lives. With the good weather spell we have already had 5 call outs in the past 48 hours. Donations from fundraisers such as this show, help us ensure our volunteers are always ready to respond to pager.`
The Bundoran RNLI Vintage Car Show is a key event in the station’s fundraising calendar and a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together in support of their local lifeboat station. If you are bringing your car to the show, please arrive early as we expect a huge crowd again this year.
The West End Car Park will be closed to the public from 10am on Sunday to allow for event preparations and vehicle arrivals.
Mark your calendars, spread the word, and join Bundoran RNLI on Sunday 20th July for a day of engines, nostalgia, and life-saving support.
