There will be fun for all the family, and the opportunity to see the lifeboat Russell Pickering and meet the crew. There will also be RNLI lifeguards in attendance who are celebrating their 25 years of service this year, keeping people safe on their beaches.

Live music will be provided by The Fontaine’s and The Norwich Ukulele Society.

The event will have a Tombola, home made bakes and cakes, a BBQ and refreshments. The Water Safety Team will be on hand to give advice on how to enjoy your time in or near water and come home safely at the end of the day.

People will be able to speak to any of the crew about the rewarding opportunities on offer at the station and to find out how to join the ‘one crew’ to become a lifesaver. There are many roles to find out about.

All the volunteers are looking forward to seeing you at Happisburgh RNLI Lifeboat Open Day, Sunday 2 August 2026, 11am to 4pm at the station at Cart Gap, NR12 0QL.
