Troon RNLI inshore lifeboat launching on service
The volunteer lifeboat crew began making their way to the lifeboat station before RNLI D class inshore lifeboat Sheena was launched in service.

The inshore lifeboat approached the casualty vessel and after consultation with those on board a tow was established back to Troon.

After a successful tow, the casualty was berthed within Troon Yacht Haven by the D class crew.

The lifeboat then returned to station where it was made ‘ready for service’ with the assistance of the shore crew.
