Clovelly has been home to a lifeboat station for more than 150 years, with the RNLI continuing to play a central role in village life. This year's celebrations will bring together lifeboat crews, volunteers, and supporters for a day packed with live entertainment, family-friendly activities, lifeboat displays, and fundraising events.

On Sunday 2nd August the fun will begin at 8am with a sponsored swim across Bideford Bay, as dozens of participants take to the water to raise funds for the RNLI. A limited number of places are still available, and swimmers can register by visiting tinyurl.com/ClovellySwim.

From 11am, Lifeboat Day gets underway with a special visit from Clovelly's historic lifeboat, the William Cantrell Ashley. Visitors can enjoy stalls and games lining the famous harbour, live music, sea shanty performances, games, and activities for all ages.

Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day, with a barbecue alongside meals and drinks served at both The Red Lion and The New Inn Hotel.

Whether you're supporting the RNLI, enjoying a family day out, or simply soaking up the unique atmosphere of one of Devon's most beautiful villages, Clovelly's Lifeboat Weekend promises something for everyone.
