Liam, from Stoke Fleming, spent much of the January week on the water in Poole - including in darkness - plus some in the classroom, as he learned new skills in his quest to become a qualified helm.
The keen sailor, director of The Dartmouth Building Company, grew up by the river in Dittisham and has been a volunteer at Dart RNLI since 2023.
'I love being on the water and it was a fabulous week.' said Liam. 'It's an honour being part of the Dart RNLI team and a privilege to volunteer for such a brilliant cause.'
